Examinations:  There is no substitute for a hands-on examination with a qualified veterinarian that you trust.  A yearly complete physical examination is recommended for most pets, but senior pets should be examined every 6 months.  Pets age much more quickly than humans and by thorough examinations and preventive care we can help keep your pet healthy for many years.

Laboratory services:  We have a complete in house laboratory where we can check blood counts, serum biochemistries, urinalysis, and infectious diseases.  This allows us to treat your pet more quickly and accurately.  We also use other professional veterinary laboratories for specialized tests and consultation.

Radiology:  We use a state of the art digital radiography system which means we can quickly take high quality x-rays to help diagnose any problems.  We also offer OFA testing.

Ultrasound:  Ultrasound imaging provides a detailed view of the heart and internal organs.  It is also used to determine pregnancy as early as 20 days post breeding.

Exotics/Pocket Pets:  Dr Decker treats a wide variety of birds and exotics, excluding snakes.   We recognize that even the smallest little hamster can be a part of your family and at NOAH we strive to treat them that way.  We do everything from nail and beak trims on birds to fracture repairs and tumor removals.  Did you know that spaying female rabbits prevents uterine cancer and mammary gland tumors just like it does in dogs?

Anesthesia:  We understand it can be scary when your pet is placed under anesthesia.  We use the safest and most up-to-date anesthetics available, and each pet is carefully monitored while under anesthesia and during recovery. (For more information see our Surgery and Anesthesia page)

Surgery:  We are fully equipped and trained to perform most of your pet’s surgical needs whether it be a spay or neuter or a complicated orthopedic procedure.  (For more information see our Surgery and Anesthesia page)

Dentistry:  Dental health is one of the most important qualities for a healthy and long life for your pet. We provide preventive care, teeth cleaning, and some dental surgeries.  We also have digital dental x-ray which means we can quickly evaluate the health of your pet’s teeth even below the gum line.

Pain Management:  Here at NOAH we feel very strongly about keeping pets as comfortable as possible.  Pain can be caused by many factors including trauma, disease, age-related changes or surgery. We believe in a multi-modal approach to pain management including Laser Therapy.

Microchip Identification:  In the event your pet is lost, permanent identification is essential. We want to help your pet return safely to you.  As people travel more and more it is important that your pet’s microchip is identified domestically as well as internationally, that is why we use the ResQTM microchip. Boarding:  We know sometimes it's difficult to leave your pet behind when you need to go out of town. Whether the reason is fun or business, a trip often means worry over the care your beloved furry family member may be receiving while you're gone. While we cannot replace you, we will always try our best to make your pet feel as comfortable and loved as possible. For the health of all our guests, all boarding animals must be healthy and current on immunizations. If they have not been done in our clinic, written proof of immunization from a veterinary hospital will be required.

Dietary and Behavioral Counseling:  Our staff can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, separation anxiety and aggression. We can also counsel you on the proper nutritional needs of your pet for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, pregnancy, weight loss and  special needs.
