Our Nifty Nurses!

Megan just graduated from Broadview University and this is her first official position as a veterinary technician.  She was born in Idaho but raised here locally.  She enjoys any sport especially wakeboarding and dancing.  She has a Labrador named Gordon, but she calls him “Gordy Wardy”.  She likes working in the veterinary field because she is able to make a difference in the lives of the animals she works with and the people who own them.  She enjoys all of the people here at NOAH. Welcome Megan!

Denise has just recently started at NOAH.  She was born and raised locally and has 6 years of experience as a veterinary technician.  She enjoys riding her horse, hunting, playing dodge ball and spending time with her family.  Her two “kids” are her schnauzer, “Winston” and her horse, “Texi”.  She says she enjoys working here at NOAH because the doctors and staff are fun, caring and professional.

Carol has been with us since 2008. She is originally from “Philly” but has lived lots of places prior to moving to Utah including Maryland, Kansas, New Mexico and even the French West Indies.  She enjoys spending time with her grandkids and trying to keep up with her yard work.  She has more than a few cats most of which are seniors and one earless cat named, “Josette”.  They all give her much enjoyment.  She says she never wants to grow up; she’s in her “retirement” and has avoided growing up this long and doesn’t plan on doing so anytime soon.  She enjoys the high standards of care we give to our patients and the fun we have doing it.

Stephanee has been with NOAH since 2005. Her interests include orthopedics, client education and most of all making pets healthy and happy.  She has seven pets which include two dogs, Bubba and Charcoal, one cat named Sylvester, four rabbits named Bobbie, Charlie, Rascal, and Freeda. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and being outdoors. She enjoys the opportunities to continue to learn and set higher goals.

Karen is our Lead Technician and has been part of our team since 2005.  She has twenty years experience as a veterinary technician in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Illinois.  In her spare time she rides her horses, goes to movies, reads, gardens and spends a lot of time taking care of the menagerie of pets she has.  Her zoo includes four dachshunds, four cats, seven ducks, five goats and two horses.

Kristin has been with NOAH since 2006. She graduated from Utah Career College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and now is a certified Veterinary Technician.  She has two Dachshunds, Wrangler and Bandit, one cat, Smurf, and a husband.  She enjoys snowboarding, four-wheeling, camping, and just being outdoors.  She loves working at NOAH and says it's nice to come to work each day knowing she is helping out animals.

Ashley has been here since 2005. She loves being able to take care of all the pets (and their people) that come to NOAH.  She is a proud mommy of two handsome boys.  She enjoys camping, fishing, horseback riding and swimming.  Ashley is a jokester and always makes us smile.

Alyssa has been at NOAH since 2008.  For the past couple of years she has been taking care of the pets in boarding and keeping our hospital sparkling clean.  She is now working as a veterinary assistant while attending the pre-veterinary program at Weber State University.  On her spare time she enjoys reading and playing the piano.  There are three dogs in her household, Heidi, Sophie and Bella.  She enjoys learning new things everyday at school and here at NOAH.
